Lease Hart is a 2D Animator from Toledo, OH. She studied at Columbus College of Art and Design and earned her BFA in Animation with a minor in Illustration. Some hobbies of hers outside of art include dancing, roller skating, fashion/makeup, and reading graphic novels.Lease is passionate about making relatable connections through her art. She does this by representing a diverse and inclusive variety of identities throughout her work. As a queer, Mexican-American artist herself, seeing your identity represented accurately is important to feel needed in this world. She knows the feeling of wanting to be seen and heard throughout the general media.What has always inspired Lease is slice-of-life storytelling, over the top comedy, and character interactions! Any show that has memorable characters and involve some sort of wacky plot will always have a special place in her heart. That's what Lease strives for when it comes to telling her stories! She especially loves everything to do with visual development and more specifically the character design process, storyboarding, and conceptualizing environments.
